Instructor, Department of Pediatrics, Children’s Hospital Boston

Dr. Kieran received his PhD from the University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada and his MD from the University of Calgary.  He completed postgraduate training in molecular biology at the Pasteur Institute in Paris.

Dr. Kieran’s past research and publications have reported on anti-angiogenic cancer therapies. Mark Kieran’s laboratory in conjunction with the late Dr. Judah Folkman’s laboratory, have examined the anti-angiogenic effects of a number of angiogenic inhibitors including endostatin.

Dr. Kieran’s awards include the Nick Palmer Lecture Award received in London, England.

Dr. Stuart is a graduate of the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, New York.

He came to the Boston area from New York for his internship and residency in internal medicine at the New England Deaconess Hospital. Dr. Stuart later received a fellow-ship in  Hematology / Oncology also at New England Deaconess Hospital.

Dr. Stuart has been primarily involved in clinical research in hepatocellular carcinoma, cholangiocarcinoma, pancreatic cancers, and hepatic metastases. His current trials and pro-grams have included chemoembolization and
radiofrequency ablation for localized hepatic tumors.

          Matthew Kulke, M.D.

Dr. Kulke is a graduate of Princeton University and received his MD from the University of California San Francisco School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Dr. Kulke received a fellowship in medical oncology at Dana-Farber Cancer Inst.

Dr. Kulke is a member of the staff of Dana-Farber Cancer Institute’s Gastrointestinal Cancer Center and serves as Assistant Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical School, Department of Oncology. He is Co-Chairman of the Caring for Carcinoid Foundation’s Board of Scientific Advisors and serves on the Advisory Board for the New England Carcinoid Connection.

Dr. Kulke’s involvement in research and clinical trials of Carcinoid and other Neuroendocrine tumors has rewarded him with recognition worldwide! He has authored or co-authored numerous articles relevant to Carcinoid/Neuroendocrine tumor clinical trials and research.
